How to Use This Tool

  1. Enter a part keyword and optionally year, make, model, or a part number.
  2. Review the combined search string.
  3. Open any retailer card — each launches that site’s search in a new tab.
  4. From a garage mod later, deep-link with ?q=&year=&make=&model=&part= query params.

The Formula & Physics Behind the Math

This tool does not scrape catalogs. It constructs standard retailer search-query URLs from your inputs. RockAuto uses their keyword (part name) search — not Part # lookup — so year/make/model/part land in the search field; eBay uses Motors category 6000; Amazon scopes to the automotive index; Summit uses its keyword search. No affiliate or tracking tags are appended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these affiliate links?

No. Links are organic search URLs with rel=noopener noreferrer. CarCultureHQ does not append affiliate tags on this tool.

Why doesn’t RockAuto show my exact vehicle catalog?

RockAuto’s deep catalog tree uses internal slugs. This MVP opens their keyword (part name) search with your combined query so you can jump in quickly without maintaining a slug map.

Can I link from my wishlist or mods?

Yes. Append q, year, make, model, and part query params to /tools/one-tap-retailer-search. Use existing mods and wishlist items — there is no separate vehicle_parts table.
